Asthma strong therapeutic education!

Frequent and increasing, asthma is responsible for 2 000 deaths each year. To improve care and reduce the terrible toll the development of therapeutic education is essential. It should soon be more accessible or refunded.

Bachelot law or statute “Hospital Patients, Health and Territory” passed in June 2009 stresses the importance of therapeutic education. What does that mean? What is its efficiency, particularly in asthma? Answers from Dr. Marc Sapene, pulmonologist and president of the Asthma and Allergy Association, and Marie-Pierre Rinn, asthmatic and Chair of the antenna Tours of this association.

What methods against stress?

Hypnosis, relaxation therapy, NLP, EMDR, EFT … brief therapies are gaining momentum! And because these methods to address your fears and try to make them disappear in a few sessions.

Unlike conventional therapy, brief therapies are mostly interested in solutions, not causes. The goal in brief therapy is not to “understand the source of a problem,” but rather “how to remove it. These therapies are based on an objective change in a given time (no more than ten meetings in general). If the brief therapies are interesting for problems related to stress, they are not always suitable for all ills and do not necessarily replace the analytical work. However, if you want to learn how to manage your emotions, they can be quite effective.
